Role Description:

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Video Editor and Graphic Designer based in Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements.

The role requires fluency in English & involves planning, editing, and producing video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and brand stories, including cutting footage, adding motion graphics, sound, and basic color correction.

The Video Editor and Graphic Designer will design static and dynamic visuals such as social posts, ads, presentations, and brand assets that align with client guidelines and project briefs.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the strategy and content teams, interpreting creative directions, organizing media assets, maintaining brand consistency across platforms, and preparing files for digital delivery.

The role also requires staying updated on design and video trends, contributing creative ideas during brainstorming, and meeting project timelines in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

* Minimum 1.5 years of experience

* Fluent in English

* Strong skills in video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion graphics (e.g., After Effects).

* Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and experience creating digital assets for social media and marketing.

* Ability to interpret brand strategy and storytelling into visual concepts, layouts, and video narratives.

* Experience optimizing visuals and videos for digital platforms, including aspect ratios, formats, and basic knowledge of social media best practices.

* Solid understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.

* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

* Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with creative, content, and marketing teams.

* Prior experience in an agency, content studio, or similar creative environment is preferred.
