Job Title: Commis ChefJob Summary
Outlet : Ordinery Taman Melawati, KL

Basic Food Preparation

• Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, fruits, and meats.
• Prepare basic ingredients, sauces, and marinades according to recipes.
• Help assemble simple dishes and prep stations before kitchen opening.

Kitchen Support & Cooking

• Assist Demi Chefs and Chef de Parties in basic cooking tasks (boiling, frying, grilling).
• Label, date, and store raw ingredients and cooked items properly in chillers and freezers.
• Monitor stock levels at assigned stations and inform senior chefs when supplies are low.

Hygiene & Kitchen Maintenance

• Maintain strict cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards (HACCP / Halal guidelines).
• Clean, sanitize, and organize work stations, kitchen equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Education: Basic education or culinary training preferred.
• Experience: 0–2 years in a kitchen or F&B environment (training will be provided).
• Skills:
• Basic cooking knowledge
• Good teamwork and communication
• Able to work under pressure and during peak hours
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions

Working Conditions

• Must be able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Standing for long hours in a hot kitchen environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
