WE ARE HIRING | Firewall Specialist

Location: Equatorial Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Salary: RM 10,500 – RM 12,000
Eligibility: Malaysian nationals only

We are looking for an experienced Firewall Specialist to manage, implement, and support enterprise firewall, network security, and proxy environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and maintain enterprise firewall infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot FortiGate, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Check Point Firewalls.
• Support Routing & Switching infrastructure and firewall integration.
• Monitor network security environments and investigate connectivity or security-related incidents.
• Perform firewall configuration, policy management, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Support proxy infrastructure, including Zscaler Proxy and other proxy technologies.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve network and security operations.
• Work with Linux-based environments for network and security-related activities.
• Participate in firewall migration, deployment, implementation, and infrastructure enhancement projects.
• Perform root-cause analysis and maintain technical documentation.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in Network Security / Firewall technologies.
• Hands-on experience with FortiGate, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Check Point Firewall.
• Strong understanding of Routing & Switching.
• Knowledge of Zscaler Proxy and other proxy tools is an advantage.
• Experience with automation/scripting is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Pay: RM10,500.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
