Based in Kuala Lumpur - Job requires to assess, diagnose, plan, and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions for outpatient clients with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, sports, and post-surgical conditions at our centre - PHYSIO ASIA THERAPY CENTRE, Kuala Lumpur . Physio Asia is established brand in Singapore since 2006 - with branches in Malaysia and Philippines

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Deliver physiotherapy interventions including:
• Manual therapy
• Therapeutic exercises
• Electrotherapy modalities
• Dry needling (where certified)
• Functional rehabilitation
• Gait and balance training
• Sports injury rehabilitation
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
• Educate patients and caregivers on condition management, injury prevention, exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation according to organizational standards.
• Ensure safe and effective use of physiotherapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Able to develop case load and develop referral source and revenue

Quality & Compliance

• Adhere to professional standards, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
• Report incidents, risks, and safety concerns promptly.

Professional Development

• Maintain current registration and professional licensure.
• Participate in continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
• Stay updated with current evidence-based physiotherapy practices.
• Support mentoring and training of junior staff and students when required.

QualificationsEssential

• Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid professional license/registration to practice Physiotherapy.

Desirable

• Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy or related specialty.
• Certifications in Manual Therapy, Dry Needling, Sports Physiotherapy, or other relevant specialties.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an outpatient physiotherapy setting (preferred).
• Experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, orthopedic conditions, and post-operative care.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Location: Outpatient Physiotherapy Centre

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
