Job Summary

• Ensure the operations of the accounting department for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
• To provide timely, relevant and accurate information for management decision making.
• To ensure all financial matter are conducted in a soundly manner.

Duties and Responsibility

• Managing day-to-day accounting transactions in accordance with approved accounting standards.
• Handle full sets of account, including fixed asset listing, receivables, payables, general ledger and bank reconciliation.
• Handle account reconciliation and resolve discrepancy.
• Monthly closing of accounts and generation of management reports.
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
• Ensure that accounts payable is paid in a timely manner.
• Manage and monitor on all cash related functions within the Company.
• Liaise with auditors & tax agents on audit & tax matters.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as and when requested by the superior / General Manager.

Position Requirement

1. Qualification Minimum bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.

2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in account roles.

3. Skill / Competencies:

a. Proficiency in accounting software (SQL) and Microsoft excel

b. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

c. Attention to details, accuracy, good communication skills and able to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
