1.0 Job Responsibilities

• Lead the shift team to achieve shift production targets
• Prepare and ensure all reports are completed by the end of the shift
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times
• Act as the Production ERT Lead for the shift in charge
• Plan and execute training plans for operators under the assigned shift based on production needs
• Ensure production runs smoothly by allocating the correct resources to resolve issues and performing timely escalation when necessary
• Ensure proper handover of information to the following shift
• Conduct counseling sessions with operators whenever necessary
• Report any violations of rules or procedures occurring within the assigned shift
• Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals
• Evaluate various production stations to ensure optimum efficiency
• Maintain communication between employees and senior management to ensure procedures and policies are well understood
• Other additional work tasks or additional roles assigned by the superior

2.0 Job Requirements

• Education: Preferably a Diploma and above. SPM holders with more than 5 years of experience in an SMT Production Supervisor role may also be considered
• Working Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the EMS industry
• Communication Skills: Able to communicate (speak, read, and write) in both English and Mandarin, as the role involves project transfers from China
• Computer Proficiency: Able to prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Physical Requirements: This position may require long hours of standing and walking
• Availability: Able to work overtime whenever required

3.0 Authorities

• Exercise shift operation authority by assigning and balancing production manpower according to process requirements
• Determine operational execution based on critical situations, making decisions related to quality, process, safety, and other operational matters
• Access operational systems and applications for daily job tasks
• Analyze incidents and issues occurring on the production floor
• Provide input and exercise control in employee performance reviews

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
