Who You Are:

You are experienced in applying operations research methods to real-world problems and can translate complex business requirements into mathematical optimization models. You are able to work independently as well as in a team, and can handle cross-functional collaboration effectively, communicating clearly with stakeholders across different departments and functions.

Position Summary:

As a Supply Chain Optimization Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for the organization’s supply chain planning and execution programs. Our optimization programs enable the organization to plan and execute effectively, minimizing waste and increasing productivity throughout our operations. You will need to handle business requirements and projects that involve our optimization programs, work cross-functionally with stakeholders, and translate complex business needs into robust, scalable optimization solutions that deliver measurable impact across the supply chain.

What You Will Do:

• To execute optimization projects in a timely manner following the Agile frame work
• Support & further develop our customised planning & execution solutions ensuring that the applications can continue to support the business and users can operate the applications to best of their capabilities
• Provide first & second level support for our optimization programs
• Analyze existing methodology and implement robust process improvements which can result in inventory reduction or service level improvements
• Drive consolidation towards harmonized supply chain process
• Provide coaching and training of new methodology and tools to peers throughout functions via workshops, project reporting and formalized training.

What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):

• Knowledge in using optimization programs like CPLEX, IBM , IBM ODMe (or similar commercial solver based applications like Oracle SNO, JDA SP/PP, Gurobi etc.) with an understanding of Linear Programming and/or Constraint programming concepts.
• Ability to analyze Java and/or .Net code to understand data processing logic
• Familiarity with writing SQL queries
• Ability to set the right priorities and translate supply chain optimization problems into tangible solutions.

Field of Study

• Degree/Masters/PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics and any relevant background.

Years of Experience (Preferred)

• 6-7 years onwards (Degree/Masters holder)
• 5 years onwards (PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in leading projects & operational experience in a multidisciplinary, international organization (preferably within semiconductor industry and supply chain area).
• Familiarity of ERP systems and SAP experience
• Familiarity of MES systems
• PMP certification is a plus.
