Own the full end-to-end Global Indirect Procurement lifecycle across a diverse range of categories — including General Construction, HR Services, Administration, Computer Hardware, and Office Software — encompassing RFQ issuance, vendor evaluation and onboarding, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
Design and execute global sourcing strategies for Indirect Procurement, ensuring full alignment with the Company's strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial targets.
Build and oversee robust supplier performance management frameworks, monitoring KPIs, delivery timelines, and quality benchmarks to drive consistent service excellence and contractual compliance.
Proactively identify, assess, and onboard new suppliers across international markets; develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier database capturing performance data, pricing history, and contractual terms.
Facilitate regular strategic business reviews with key suppliers to evaluate performance, resolve issues, unlock continuous improvement opportunities, and foster long-term, value-driven partnerships.
Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs); manage the full contract lifecycle including drafting, renewals, and amendments.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal business units on resource planning and delivery commitments; work closely with Finance on budget forecasting, cost optimisation initiatives, and invoice reconciliation.
Develop and present comprehensive procurement reports and market intelligence insights to senior leadership, enabling informed, data-driven decision-making and forward-looking strategic planning.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of progressive procurement experience, with a proven track record in Indirect Procurement within a fast-growing technology company or high-scaling startup environment.
Domain Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of the Singapore vendor landscape, with particular familiarity across key categories including IT distributors, facilities management contractors, and insurance brokers.
Versatility: Demonstrated ability to navigate across diverse procurement categories — seamlessly bridging technical engineering requirements and corporate services such as HR benefits and administrative procurement.
Negotiation Skills: A skilled and persuasive negotiator with the ability to structure commercially favourable terms while cultivating long-term, trust-based supplier partnerships and maintaining a lean cost structure.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to facilitate effective coordination with regional and international partners.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. Professional certification such as CIPS or equivalent is an advantage.
