• Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable global and local suppliers to expand our trading portfolio.
• Commercial Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, pricing structures, and payment terms to ensure optimal profit margins.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and demand shifts to make data-driven purchasing decisions.
• Inventory & Supply Management: Collaborate with logistics and sales teams to align procurement schedules with inventory demands and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Supplier Performance: Establish and track KPIs for vendor performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.

about the manager/team
In this role, you will operate as a key individual contributor, giving you full ownership and autonomy over your portfolio. You will work closely with senior leadership, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director to align procurement and trading strategies with overall business goals.

skills and experiences

• Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, specifically within a trading or fast-moving commercial environment.

• Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills. Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.

• Mindset: A proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills who can adapt quickly to volatile market conditions.

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trading, or a related field.
