Our client is a contractor in the construction industry and they have a few openings for the BIM Modeller position

It is a 3-year contract position

Responsibilities

Shop Drawings & Modeling:
Prepare, update, and manage detailed Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) shop drawings and 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) models based on as-built data.

Technical Compliance:
Ensure all drawings strictly align with project specifications, technical requirements, and quality standards to guide exact site fabrication and installation.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to update drawings, incorporate design changes, and resolve coordination issues.

BIM Documentation:
Organize, prepare, and manage technical documentation for record-keeping and formal BIM submissions.

Project Support:
Assist the Project Manager with ad-hoc tasks to ensure the project meets its scheduled completion timelines.

Requirements

Technical Skills & Systems

Software:
High proficiency in

Autodesk Revit

(specifically for

MEP Modeling

) and

AutoCAD

for 2D drafting.

Domain Focus:
Specialization in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, with

ACMV (Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation)

systems given top priority.

Qualifications & Background

Education:
An ITE certificate, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

.

Experience Level:
Ability to translate complex 2D/3D engineering data into precise, contractor-level construction plans.

Core Competencies

Communication:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across project teams.

Time Management:
Able to deliver high-quality drawings on time and manage tight project schedules.
