Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to support the daily maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The role involves performing routine inspections, carrying out basic repairs, and assisting in preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure all equipment and building systems are operating efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

-Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor electrical, plumbing, and general repair work
-Assist in preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities
-Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot basic issues
-Support senior technicians in diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
-Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems or hazards
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
-Keep records of maintenance activities and report completed work

Requirements / Qualifications

-Minimum secondary school education (SPM or equivalent)
-Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance work
-At least 1 year of relevant working experience (fresh graduates may be considered)
-Ability to use basic hand and power tools
-Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
-Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
-Willing to work overtime or on-call if required

-Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-Good communication and teamwork abilities
-Knowledge of workplace safety practices
