Programmer / Developer

Location: Putrajaya

Contract Duration: 12 months

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Programmer / Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, integration and maintenance of application systems. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on software development experience, good technical problem-solving skills and the ability to lead and support a development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain application systems according to project requirements.
• Develop and enhance front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Perform system integration with databases, APIs and third-party platforms.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application and system issues efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts and technical team members to deliver projects within agreed timelines.
• Prepare technical documentation related to development and system implementation.
• Provide technical support during deployment and post-implementation activities.
• Lead and guide team members on development activities when required.
• Support technical discussions, solution development and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Requirements

Strong working knowledge of the following technologies and tools:

• Angular for front-end development
• Java Spring Boot for back-end development
• Rancher for container management and orchestration
• Oracle and DB2 databases
• WSO2 API Manager for API integration and management
• Visual Studio Code as a development environment
• Flutter for mobile application development

Experience in the following areas will be an advantage:

• System integration
• RESTful APIs
• Database-driven applications
• Application development and integration
• Containerized application environments

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Previous experience in leading a development team or demonstrating strong leadership skills is required.
• Strong knowledge of software development practices and application integration.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Willing and able to work additional hours when required to meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work in Putrajaya.
