Perform daily outgoing buy-off to ensure product quality meets production and customer requirements.
Raise and follow up on Stop Shipment Reports (SSR), perform risk assessments of on-hold products, and propose lot disposition methods during MRB (Material Review Board) meetings.
Coordinate quality system activities, including containment, risk assessment and disposition of non-conforming materials, and monitoring and measurement of resources and samples.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall outgoing quality improvement activities, including product audits, to reduce quality issues and the number of non-conforming products placed on hold. Update the daily product shippable stock report.
Manage a team of technicians/operators in carrying out product and process inspection activities.
Develop standards, processes, and documentation as necessary to ensure continual improvement.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI), Special Build Request (SBR), Special Incoming Inspection Request (SIIR) sample checking, and customer claim investigations.
Publish the daily buy-off stock report to the Planning Department for shipment arrangements.
Authorized to issue Stop Shipment Reports (SSR) to the MRB (Material Review Board) for disposition decisions on non-conforming lots.
Authorized to set up and configure index recipes on the Scanning Acoustic Tomography (SAT) machine for daily checks and machine verification, ensuring compliance with operational and quality standards.
Authorized to initiate and implement improvements in document and data management processes, including revising data monitoring formats and enhancing data-checking procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of working experience in quality engineering, product quality, or a related field.
Able to work effectively with personnel at all levels.
