Role Description The Information Technology Specialist is a full-time role based in WP Kuala Lumpur with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site and work-from-home flexibility. This role involves managing and maintaining network infrastructure, servers, and end-user devices to ensure stable and secure operations. The specialist will monitor system performance, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and implement updates, patches, and configurations in line with company standards. Daily responsibilities include supporting users with hardware and software troubleshooting, coordinating with vendors, maintaining documentation, and contributing to IT security initiatives. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure that IT services align with business needs and support Keystone Digital’s technology platforms.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Information Technology and Troubleshooting, including diagnosing system issues and supporting diverse IT environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration, such as configuring, monitoring, and maintaining LAN/WAN, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Security, including implementing security controls, monitoring for threats, and supporting compliance with security policies.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, assist users effectively, and manage support requests professionally.
- Relevant experience with Windows and/or Linux environments, cloud services, and common enterprise tools is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a hybrid setting.
- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or similar) are an advantage.
