Requirements

Min. Bachelor degree

5-10 years experience of P&C treaty reinsurance, particularly property treaty underwriting

Experienced and knowledgeable in Asia Market, preferably China and Hong Kong

Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and business partners

Good interpersonal skills

Organized and meticulous with the ability to multi-task

Willing to travel

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities include but not limited to following:
Underwrite and assist to manage the Treaty portfolio of his/her assigned markets/clients including but not limited to pricing and modelling, portfolio analysis, nat cat accumulation monitoring, credit control, administration, etc.

Execute the underwriting plans and strategies of the assigned markets/clients to achieve target profitability of the assigned

To ensure guideline compliance on business written

To monitor treaty performance

To assist in treaty marketing activities and develop client strategies to provide excellent client service

To do research on the trends of reinsurance markets and participate in developing business strategies

To conduct Ad-hoc projects as and when needed
