Job Summary

You will produce and review mechanical design drawings and calculations, resolve technical issues during design and construction, conduct experiments and data analysis, and evaluate product performance to support project success in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Set design criteria and verify design calculations and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals to meet project requirements.
• Maintain and verify completeness of project records and documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical problems encountered during design and construction phases
• Prepare detailed product reports and supporting documentation.
• Inspect fire rated board installation.During inspection, note down and take photos of certain installation work.

• Liaise with authorities, client, and consultant to execute the work according to the specification and authority’s requirements.

• Evaluate product performance, reliability, and safety to ensure quality standards.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the construction industry
• Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant project experience in HVAC/ACMV/MEP systems design and project management
• Strong knowledge of M&E installation, current practices, codes, and authorities’ requirements
