The Project Manager is responsible for leading the project team to complete projects safely on time, within budget and meeting quality parameters in line with the standards, specifications and expectations of the project.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position is, and not limited to, as follows:
- Responsible for the safe completion of project within budgeted cost with full compliance to all required specifications.
- Coordination with Owner, Architect, Consultants and Authority Agencies.
- Prepare project schedules, track progress of work to ensure timely completion of work.
- Chair project meetings and ensure progress reports are submitted on time.
- Manage all project resources and their performance including project team members, subcontractors, suppliers and workers.
- Work closely with Contracts Manager and QS for all procurements, subcontracts, claims and payment matters.
- Manage all progress claims, EOT application and submission of V.O to Architect and Consultants.
- Manage public safety at worksite and all WSHE (workplace safety, health & environmental) issues at project level to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Manage the quality of work to ensure all completed works meet quality parameters in line with the standards, specifications and expectations of the project.
- Manage project pre and post completion including all Authority’s submissions and approvals.
Skills and Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering from a recognized University
- Experience: minimum 6 years’ experience in managing local construction projects as a Project Manager
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project
- Employment will be under Tanglin Corporation (Subsidiary of Woh Hup Group)
