Role Description The Senior Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, focused on managing and growing a portfolio of corporate and/or high-net-worth clients. The role includes developing and maintaining long-term client relationships, identifying client needs, and proposing suitable banking, lending, trade finance, and investment solutions. The Senior Relationship Manager will prepare client proposals, manage credit applications, and coordinate with product, risk, and operations teams to ensure high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities also include monitoring portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and contributing to business development through networking and market research. The role requires proactive engagement with clients to deepen wallet share, address service issues promptly, and support the bank’s strategic growth objectives in the Singapore market.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship management, client advisory, and account management skills, with a consistent track record of building and retaining key client relationships.
• Solid knowledge of corporate banking products, trade finance, treasury solutions, and investment offerings, and the ability to structure tailored solutions.
• Proficiency in credit analysis, financial statement review, and risk assessment, including experience in preparing and defending credit proposals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across product, risk, and operations teams.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and capability to manage multiple client mandates concurrently.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline; relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CA, FRM) are an advantage.
• Significant experience in corporate or commercial banking, preferably in an international or regional bank, with familiarity in Asian markets.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, and sound risk management practices; experience with MAS regulations is beneficial.
• Comfort working in a multicultural environment; proficiency in English is required, and additional Asian languages are an advantage for cross-border
