岗位职责
Job Description:
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) to suppliers and vendors.
- Source, compare, and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with internal departments on purchasing requirements.
- Monitor and follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and purchasing records.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, lead time, terms, and services.
- Review procurement requirements to ensure cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure accuracy in costing calculations, procurement records, and documentation.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Support superior and team members in daily operational tasks and ad-hoc assignments.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of working experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, vendor dealing, or related field.
- Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with Quantity Surveying (QS) background or work experience will have an added advantage.
- Familiar with Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, and negotiation processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and spreadsheet management.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, meticulous, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines effectively.
- Positive attitude with strong willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
