About the opportunity
A leading multinational technology and engineering group is looking for an experienced Contract Manager to support a large-scale, mission-critical programme in Singapore.
This is a high-impact role offering strong visibility, autonomy and ownership across the full contract lifecycle.
The role
Embedded within the project team, you will serve as the contractual focal point and work closely with Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, Commercial, Finance and Legal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage contracts throughout project execution, from award to final closeout.
- Advise stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, risks and commercial matters.
- Administer formal notices, variations, change orders, claims, extensions and amendments.
- Ensure alignment between customer contracts and key supplier or subcontractor agreements.
- Monitor contractual milestones, deliverables, warranties, securities and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities for cost recovery, risk mitigation and value protection.
- Manage contractual correspondence, documentation and governance.
- Support contract negotiations, dispute avoidance and resolution.
- Prepare contractual recommendations and risk assessments for senior management.
- Improve contract-management processes, templates and best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Law, Contract Management, Business, Engineering, Procurement or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant contract or commercial management experience.
- Experience supporting complex, long-term projects within infrastructure, transportation, aerospace, defence, energy, EPC, systems integration or technology.
- Strong knowledge of variations, claims, change management and contractual risk allocation.
- Able to operate independently and engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfortable working within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
