About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client, an established company operating within the logistics, warehousing and transportation sector in Kuching, Sarawak, RIHGA is currently seeking a Human Resource Executive to join their team.
This is a hands-on HR position responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations across warehouse, transport and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Ensure statutory compliance covering EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB (LHDN).
- Monitor overtime, allowances, claims and payroll documentation.
- Maintain employee records including employment contracts, identification documents, licences and passports.
- Assist with foreign-worker quota applications and AP permit applications or renewals.
- Prepare HR reports covering headcount, employee turnover and attendance.
- Monitor employee attendance, lateness, absenteeism, leave and workforce scheduling.
- Handle employee relations matters including grievances, complaints and disciplinary issues.
- Prepare warning letters, show-cause letters and other disciplinary documentation when required.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment including job advertisements, candidate screening, interviews and onboarding.
- Coordinate recruitment for operational and administrative positions including warehouse operators, drivers, supervisors and administrative staff.
- Prepare employment contracts and maintain proper HR documentation.
- Identify employee training needs and coordinate internal and external training programmes.
- Manage employee onboarding, induction, resignation, termination, exit clearance and exit interviews.
- Support KPI and performance-management processes for operational employees.
- Support management with performance reviews, manpower planning and HR-related decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, internal HR policies and applicable ISO 22000/HACCP requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or an equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably within logistics, warehousing or a similar operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws.
- Experience handling payroll and HR systems.
- Good communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in payroll and HR documentation.
- Able to work effectively with both blue-collar and white-collar employees.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
