We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our payment systems team, focusing on international card payment processing, payment gateways, and transaction switching platforms across POS and e-commerce environments.

The role will contribute to the migration and implementation of Base24-eps on Linux RHEL and AWS Cloud, while ensuring high performance, reliability, security, and compliance with payment industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and contribute to functional and technical solution design.
• Develop and maintain backend systems for international payment integrations, including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and UPI.
• Support migration and implementation of Base24-eps on Linux RHEL and AWS Cloud.
• Develop and optimize high-volume payment switching and transaction processing systems.
• Collaborate with QA, frontend, business teams, vendors, banks, and payment schemes.
• Develop solutions aligned with PCI-DSS and international payment security standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system performance, reliability, and resiliency.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture, and integration flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of backend development experience, preferably in payment systems or transaction switching.
• Strong experience with C++, Linux/RHEL, and Korn Shell scripting.
• Experience with AWS Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with IBM MQ is an advantage.
• Experience with Base24-eps is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of payment processing and card transaction flows.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS and payment security standards.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: From $5,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
