Job Description

Responsibilities

About the Role
At Century Supply Chain Solutions, we power global supply chains for leading companies using our proprietary VIZIV platform — a cloud-based, AI-driven system for real-time visibility, predictive analytics, PO management, exception handling, optimization, and end-to-end control.
We seek a passionate Business Analyst who thinks from first principles , draws fresh insight and balance from being connected to nature , and relentlessly uncovers & solves underlying root problems in complex logistics flows — rather than treating symptoms.
You thrive on delivering measurable results that improve freight efficiency, cost, reliability, and customer experience. You dive deep into data, processes, and stakeholder needs; earn trust through clear, reliable collaboration; champion simplicity in requirements, solutions, and workflows; insist on the highest standards ; and stay curious with a drive to learn continuously.
This role blends deep business analysis , hands-on project management , and strong data querying to drive enhancements in VIZIV and related supply chain operations — ideal for someone eager to grow in a high-impact, tech-meets-supply-chain environment.
Key Responsibilities

Use first-principles thinking to break down supply chain challenges (e.g., visibility gaps, consolidation inefficiencies, exception patterns, forecasting issues) and rebuild clearer, more effective requirements and solutions

Identify and address the true underlying problems in business processes, data flows, customer pain points, or operational bottlenecks through deep analysis

Dive deep into VIZIV data, user feedback, logistics metrics, AI outputs, and global operations to uncover root causes and recommend high-impact improvements

Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements with clarity and simplicity — create user stories, process maps, wireframes, and specs that are easy to understand and implement

Lead and manage small-to-medium projects end-to-end: define scope, create timelines/roadmaps, track progress, manage risks/issues, coordinate cross-functional teams (product, engineering, operations, customers), and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery

Facilitate stakeholder alignment (internal teams, global ops, customers) to earn trust through transparency, active listening, candor, and consistent follow-through

Insist on the highest standards in requirements quality, process documentation, testing/validation, change management, and overall solution effectiveness — never settle for vague or incomplete work

Support testing and verification of software deliverables: collaborate with engineering on test scenarios, participate in reviews (e.g., QA/UAT), validate that changes deliver expected results, confirm no regressions or breaks in production-critical flows (e.g., via staging environments, rollback plans), and help ensure safe releases

Measure and report on results — track project outcomes, KPIs (e.g., reduced delays, cost savings, improved visibility), and post-implementation impact

Stay curious and learn rapidly: deepen supply chain/logistics domain knowledge, explore new tools/methods (e.g., agile, data querying, AI concepts), and share insights generously with the team

Support agile/iterative delivery: participate in sprints, backlog grooming, demos, retrospectives, and continuous improvement

Contribute to a positive team culture valuing clarity, simplicity, long-term thinking and balanced, fresh perspective from being connected to nature

Exercise maximum local autonomy to innovate and solve creatively, while maintaining maximum global coherence in data flows, platform consistency, security, scalability, customer experience and company goals
Who We’re Looking For

1–5+ years in business analysis, project coordination, or related roles (supply chain/logistics exposure is a big plus)

Proven first-principles problem-solving — shown by how you’ve questioned assumptions and redesigned processes/solutions

Genuine passion for technology, supply chains, and continuous learning / curiosity

Connection to nature — gain clarity, and bring balanced, fresh thinking to complex work

Track record of diving deep , simplifying complexity, and delivering clean, high-standard results

Experience earning trust in teams through reliable delivery, clear communication, ownership, and intellectual honesty

Comfort leading projects or initiatives — defining goals, managing timelines/stakeholders, and driving to measurable outcomes

Strong fundamentals in requirements gathering, process modeling, stakeholder management, and basic project tools (e.g., Jira, Excel, Visio)

Solid analytical skills — comfortable turning insights into actionable recommendations

SQL proficiency — hands-on ability to write queries (e.g., SELECT, JOINs, aggregations, subqueries) to extract, filter, analyze, and summarize data from relational databases; used for validating requirements, investigating issues, building reports, or supporting data-driven decisions in supply chain contexts

Understanding of testing/verification in software projects — experience defining acceptance criteria, supporting QA/UAT, reviewing test results, and helping confirm deliverables meet goals without risking production stability

Ability to thrive in maximum local autonomy + maximum global coherence environments: self-directed yet aligned, independent yet collaborative, and fully aligned with company goals
Nice-to-Have (not required)

Exposure to supply chain, logistics, freight forwarding, PO management, or ERP/WMS systems

Familiarity with agile/scrum, project management frameworks (PMP basics, etc.)

Experience with BI/analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), advanced SQL (window functions, CTEs), or cloud data platforms

Knowledge of global trade, compliance, EDI, or real-time tracking concepts

Prior work on software platforms (especially SaaS/cloud-based like VIZIV)
Benefits

5-days work week, public holiday

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm

Double pay and discretionary bonus

Medical & Dental Insurance

Friendly and stable working environment

Convenient working location, 2 mins to MTR station

Career development and growth opportunities
If you naturally question “why,” love distilling complexity into simple, powerful solutions, deliver projects people rely on, uphold very high standards, query data confidently to uncover truths, and want meaningful growth — we’d love to connect.
Apply if this deeply aligns with how you approach problems, projects, data, and life.
