Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Business Development Manager role based in Singapore. The Senior Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding corporate, MICE. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and managing key accounts, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with sales, marketing, and revenue management teams to optimize occupancy and rates. The role involves analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and performance reports to refine sales strategies and meet or exceed budgeted targets. The successful candidate will also represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings, ensuring strong brand visibility and positive stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, account management, and contract negotiation.
• Experience in hospitality or related industries, with a solid understanding of hotel revenue management, corporate and group sales, and market segmentation.
• Strategic thinking and analytical abilities, including market research, data interpretation, and performance reporting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Proven leadership capabilities, including team collaboration, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets in a competitive market.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and standard office software; familiarity with hotel sales and reservations platforms is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Singapore and engage in client visits, networking events, and industry functions as needed.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to regional markets are a plus.
