Position: Project Engineer

Location: Petaling Jaya

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Hands on design and develop C&I rooftop solar PV systems, including layouts, system sizing, single-line diagrams and technical proposals.
• Conduct site assessments with the Business Development team to evaluate rooftop conditions, electrical systems and project feasibility.
• Support customer meetings and technical presentations, providing practical engineering solutions and addressing technical queries.
• Support projects throughout the full lifecycle, from design and proposal through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered according to design and requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot technical issues and support project documentation and handover.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in solar PV, preferably C&I rooftop projects.
• Hands-on experience with rooftop solar design and software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst or similar.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, solar PV components and single-line diagrams.
• Comfortable with site visits, customer-facing activities and project execution.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
