About Activate

Activate is an active gaming & entertainment concept fusing technology and physical activity to create live-action gaming experiences. Our games are immersive and interactive, requiring players to run, jump, hide, throw objects, and press buttons. Designed for multiple players, they call for a mix of movement, problem-solving skills, and team work.

All the way from North America, we are opening our first Asia store in Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Bukit Jalil in mid-March 2026.

We are currently seeking active, passionate, and customer service-savvy professionals to be part of the pioneering team at Activate Asia. Together, we will raise the standard of game entertainment in Malaysia while having a blast amongst our agile, creative workforce.

Responsibilities

This position keeps you constantly on the move, with limited time spent sitting down. It may involve tasks that require you to be actively present and responsive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Deliver outstanding customer experiences through clear, engaging communication and attentive service, through:
• Greeting customers warmly upon arrival and departure
• Processing bookings, check-ins and payments in a timely, organized manner
• Conducting concise, informative hub introductions for new groups prior to gameplay
• Proactively engage and assist customers during gameplay as needed, including participating in the games with them, to ensure a positive and smooth adventure
• Responding to customers inquiries quickly and professionally
• Providing a warm and efficient check out process
• Collaborating with other agents to troubleshoot issues and ensure optimal game performance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by:
• Performing regular cleaning and sanitation of game rooms, front desk, lockers, wristbands, lounges, door handles, and other high touch areas
• Conducting minor maintenance and repairs on room hardware and equipment

• Are willing to work various shifts starting as early as 9 am and ending as late as 12 am
• [Bonus] Have some troubleshooting and technical ability that can be applied to a wide variety of equipment repair/maintenance needs
• [Bonus] Have prior experience in retail or customer service within Malaysia

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From RM15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 31.5 per week
