About the Role

Ichor is expanding and looking for a committed and proactive Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team of Engineering Assistants to drive safe, efficient and high-quality manufacturing execution of gas and chemical delivery systems. This role will provide day-to-day leadership, manpower coordination, coaching and performance management while partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve production, quality, delivery and productivity goals. This role operates on a 12-hour rotating day/night shift and requires flexibility to support when required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
• Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Plan and administer procedures and budgets.
• Make budgetary recommendations and controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor at higher levels.
• Develop schedule and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Robotics & Smart Systems is preferred.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating strong leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with the willingness to learn new software applications.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be an added advantage.
• Exhibit strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
• Display a self-motivated attitude, thriving in a timeline-driven environment.
• Flexible to work night/day shifts as required by operational needs.
• Excel in communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration and teamwork.
• Possess advanced skills in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint, utilizing these tools for data analysis and reporting.
