About the role

The successful candidate will report to the Industrial Control Manager and will be responsible for analyzing operating costs and investments, supporting production analysis and control, monitoring production data, and collaborating on industrial control processes within an Italian agro-food group.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the trend of operating costs (OPEX) and investments (CAPEX)
• Support the analysis and control of Bills of Materials (BOMs), production cycle times and methods, and the related variance analysis compared to actuals
• Monitor production data (Work Orders, consumption, work centers, etc.) to follow the monthly industrial closing
• Support the preparation of the annual budget and intra-year forecasts
• Support monthly reporting by performing variance analysis between budget/forecast and actuals and identifying root causes in case of deviations
• Collaborate in the development and definition of standard costing processes
• Monitor monthly inventory levels through periodic control activities, developing reporting related to warehouse stock valuation, obsolete inventory analysis, and determining the stock valuation fund
• Collaborate with Management Control colleagues from HQ in Italy for cross-functional projects and for monthly and annual closings

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or specialist degree in economics or management engineering
• At least 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing companies
• Basic knowledge of SAP (FI-CO-PP-MM)
• Good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel, and Business Intelligence applications
• Knowledge of management control methodologies, particularly for industrial companies
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented attitude, and good time management ability
