Role Description The WSH Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This role supports workplace safety and health management at construction sites, ensuring compliance with local regulations, company policies, and project-specific safety requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, and assisting in risk assessments and safe work procedures. The WSH Coordinator will help organize safety briefings and toolbox meetings, monitor the use of personal protective equipment, and maintain records of incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions. The role also involves coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in WSH performance.

Qualifications

• Possess recognized WSH-related certifications (e.g., MOM-registered WSH Coordinator course) and up-to-date knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation and codes of practice.
• Experience in construction site safety coordination, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementation of safe work procedures.
• Skills in safety inspections, incident reporting, investigation support, and maintaining WSH documentation and records.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and engage workers and supervisors on WSH matters.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve safety issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced site environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing) for reporting and documentation.
• Relevant experience in building or civil engineering projects; prior work with ISO and bizSAFE systems will be an advantage.
• Minimum local tertiary education; a diploma or higher qualification in safety, engineering, or construction-related disciplines is preferred.
