Join us in this role where you’ll protect Ørsted’s critical digital landscape by detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyber security events across our IT and OT environments. You’ll work hands-on with modern security tools and collaborate closely with experts to strengthen our cyber defences and support a world that runs entirely on green energy.

Welcome to Corporate Information Security
You’ll be part of Cyber Defence Centre where you, together with your colleagues, will safeguard Ørsted’s global IT and OT environments through monitoring, detection, and incident response activities. You’ll work in an agile setup alongside skilled cyber security professionals, protecting critical assets across markets and technologies. As a team, we collaborate across disciplines and geographies, share knowledge openly, and support each other to build security by design while contributing to a sustainable energy future.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • monitoring and identifying cyber security threats, intrusions, and unauthorized activities
  • investigating security events and supporting incident response activities
  • following up on remediation actions in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • operating and improving security monitoring tools and detection capabilities
  • contributing to automation and continuous improvement of cyber defence processes
  • documenting findings and sharing insights to strengthen organizational resilience.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a relevant educational background in IT, cyber security, or equivalent experience
  • have knowledge of cyber security monitoring, detection, and incident response
  • understand IT environments and networks, with exposure to Operational Technology (OT) considered an advantage
  • can analyze threats and security events to support effective response actions
  • work in a structured way and value clear documentation and shared responsibility
  • communicate openly and collaborate effectively in a diverse, global team

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
