About the Role
I am looking for a Scrum Master / Project Manager to lead multiple hardware-focused projects, working across electronics, optics, mechanics and software.
This is a sensitive government-vetted position. Applicants must hold Singapore Citizenship by Birth.
Responsibilities
- Lead Scrum delivery across multiple engineering projects.
- Manage 14-day sprints, planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of typically 4–5 engineers.
- Develop detailed project plans, track milestones and manage dependencies.
- Identify and resolve blockers to keep projects moving.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date project documentation.
- Coordinate the transition from R&D and lab demonstrations into prototype development.
- Work closely with technical leads and software teams.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager or Technical Project Manager within a technical engineering environment.
- Strong experience managing hardware development projects.
- Good understanding of software development and experience working with software teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent planning, organisation and documentation skills.
- Able to understand technical discussions across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Experience with QKD and/or quantum communications is highly desirable.
- Experience taking R&D projects through prototype development and towards commercialisation is advantageous.
- CSM or equivalent certification is desirable, but practical experience is more important.
Required Skills
- Experience within quantum technology, electronics, photonics, electro-optics, telecommunications or advanced hardware would be highly relevant.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with QKD and/or quantum communications is highly desirable.
- Experience taking R&D projects through prototype development and towards commercialisation is advantageous.
