Job Description
We are looking for an energetic and responsible
Coffeeshop Supervisor
to oversee the daily operations of our busy coffee shop/food court branch. In this role, you will be the key anchor managing frontline staff, maintaining stringent food safety protocols, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our patrons.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced retail F&B environment, and possesses strong team-leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations Management:
Oversee the smooth running of the drink stall, frontline cashiers, and coordination with various food stall tenants.
Staff Supervision & Scheduling:
Plan staff rosters, manage shift allocations, and train frontline service crew or beverage assistants on customer service excellence.
Cash & POS Management:
Handle opening and closing cash counts, manage daily Point-of-Sale (POS) settlements, and secure daily revenue drops.
Inventory Control:
Monitor and order raw materials, beverages, and stall supplies to prevent stockouts while strictly controlling food and item wastage.
Hygiene & Compliance:
Enforce Singapore Food Agency (SFA) hygiene standards, ensure general cleanliness of the common dining areas, and prepare the site for routine audits.
Customer Relations:
Handle customer feedback promptly and maintain excellent service standards to drive repeat business.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 1 to 2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience in a coffeeshop, food court, hawker centre, or fast-paced F&B outlet.
Certification:
Food Safety Course Level 1 (formerly Food Hygiene Course) is mandatory. Food Safety Course Level 3 (Supervisory) is a strong advantage.
Languages:
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team of stall holders, staff, and customers.
Availability:
Willingness to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays (standard F&B operational hours).
Physical Traits:
Hands-on attitude with the ability to stand for long periods and support operational tasks during peak hours.
