Job Summary

Supervise and ensure timely, quality execution of construction works in compliance with contract specifications and statutory requirements. Coordinate building and structural services, manage defect rectifications, and maintain safety and accurate site records.

Responsibilities

• Supervise timely execution of works to meet contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframes, and site instructions
• Verify all drawings and specifications for discrepancies and report findings to Officer-in-Charge (OIC)
• Inspect quality of works, materials, and samples delivered on site; identify and rectify non-compliance issues and report to OIC
• Prepare defect lists, monitor rectification progress, and ensure satisfactory resolution of all defects
• Ensure all works comply with statutory requirements and contract specifications
• Attend and document minutes for site, progress, variation, QAQC, and coordination meetings
• Inspect and assist with handing over and taking over of completed works by other contracts
• Maintain proper and updated records of all site works and activities
• Coordinate all building and civil & structural (C&S) services on site
• Collaborate with the safety team to maintain maximum safety standards on site

Required competencies and certifications

• RTO accreditation by the Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) and/or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
• Minimum five (5) years of engineering experience
• Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent

• Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work to meet project deadlines
• Time management skills to efficiently allocate resources and tasks
• Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and report issues
• Proactive, go-getter mindset to drive project progress and resolve challenges
