Key Responsibilities

Cleaning and Sanitation

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, storage areas, floors, walls, and waste disposal areas.
• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Operate dishwashing machines and maintain cleaning equipment properly.

Kitchen Support

• Assist kitchen staff with basic support tasks as required.
• Transport clean dishes, utensils, and equipment to designated storage areas.
• Support food preparation areas by ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with receiving and storing supplies when needed.

Waste Management

• Collect and dispose of kitchen waste according to company procedures.
• Separate recyclable materials and maintain waste disposal areas.
• Ensure garbage bins are cleaned and sanitized regularly.

Equipment Care and Maintenance

• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Report any damaged equipment or maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of kitchen tools and equipment.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment at all times.

Team Support

• Work closely with chefs, kitchen assistants, and service staff to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist during busy service periods and special events as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor, Sous Chef, or Head Chef.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in a stewarding, kitchen, or hospitality role is an advantage but not required.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
