Job Role: Software Development Lead (Python + Angular)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead the design and development of Python-based microservices for the Billing System, Omnichannel Hub, and AI Chatbot/Voicebot modules

• Translate functional specifications and solution designs from the BA team into well-structured, testable, and maintainable code

• Manage and mentor a team of Senior Developers and Developers, providing technical coaching, code reviews, and constructive feedback

• Own the sprint backlog for assigned modules including task estimation, prioritisation, and delivery commitment

• Design and implement REST API endpoints, service contracts, and inter-service communication patterns for assigned modules

• Develop Angular frontend components for the Omnichannel Hub operator console and AI Chatbot management interface

• Collaborate with the API Gateway Development Lead to define and implement API Gateway routing, authentication, and rate limiting policies

• Ensure backend services meet performance, scalability, and security requirements defined in the NFR document

• Manage database schema design, migration scripts, and query performance for MariaDB and ClickHouse components

• Participate in integration testing coordination with the Test Lead and ensure defect resolution SLAs are met

• Contribute to DevSecOps practices including unit test coverage, static code analysis, and secure coding standards

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including API specifications, database schemas, and deployment runbooks

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline

• Minimum 12 years of software development experience with at least 3 years in a Development Lead or Senior Tech Lead role

• Expert-level Python development skills including Django REST Framework or FastAPI, asynchronous processing, and microservices design patterns

• Strong Angular (v12+) frontend skills including TypeScript, RxJS, component architecture, and state management

• Proven experience in billing system, financial system, or revenue management platform development at enterprise scale

• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, API contracts, and microservices inter-communication

• Experience integrating AI/NLP chatbot platforms with enterprise systems

• Proficiency in MariaDB and ClickHouse or equivalent analytical databases

• Strong knowledge of messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerisation, and Kubernetes basics

• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum practices, Jira, and Confluence

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, multi-location team
