Job Description:

• Manage the operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical systems to ensure uninterrupted water supply operations.

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for electrical assets and equipment.

• Monitor equipment performance, investigate failures, and implement corrective actions to improve asset reliability.

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, generators, UPS systems, motors, and electrical distribution networks.

• Support the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of SCADA, PLC, telemetry, and instrumentation systems.

• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and consultants on electrical engineering, maintenance, and project activities.

• Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements, electrical safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

• Prepare technical reports, maintain asset documentation, and support continuous improvement, asset lifecycle, and plant upgrade initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Possesses Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field.

• Candidates with at least 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, operations, or maintenance of water treatment plants, utilities, industrial facilities, or infrastructure projects.

• Good knowledge of electrical power distribution systems, motors, MCCs, switchgear, VFDs, generators, and protection systems.

• Good knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.

• Familiarity with SCADA, PLC, telemetry, and instrumentation systems.

• Good communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Well-versed in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Willing to travel.
