Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network security strategies across industrial network environments, including internal and external connectivity.
• Operate, maintain, upgrade, and patch security platforms such as Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls and related management systems.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging cybersecurity technologies, best practices, and security controls.
• Develop and manage network security infrastructure using automation, DevOps methodologies, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Contribute to operational efficiency initiatives by creating solutions that reduce manual effort and support a Zero-Ops operating model.
• Perform security monitoring, incident analysis, incident response activities, and vulnerability management processes.
• Assess security advisories and vulnerabilities, providing recommendations, risk mitigation strategies, and remediation support.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments, security investigations, and response planning activities.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, project stakeholders, vendors, and internal customers to deliver secure technology solutions.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, standards, procedures, and support processes.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis and support ad-hoc overtime requirements when necessary.

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience with network security platforms including Palo Alto (Firewall, Panorama), Fortinet (Firewall, FortiManager), and Cisco security solutions (ASA, FTD, FMC).
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, switching, and access control lists (ACLs).
• Knowledge of firewalls, VPN technologies, IDS/IPS solutions, encryption, authentication methods, vulnerability management, and incident response practices.
• Experience working with Internet Gateway technologies, site-to-site connectivity, VPNs, firewall virtualization, NAT, DMZ, certificate management, and related security architectures is advantageous.
• Experience with automation and DevOps tools such as GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, Python, REST APIs, Jenkins, Jinja2, and YAML is highly desirable.
• Exposure to CI/CD concepts and cloud network security services within AWS and Azure environments is a plus.
• Relevant industry certifications such as Palo Alto PCNSA, Fortinet FCA/FCSS/NSE, or Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security are preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently within a global virtual team environment.
• Strong analytical, multitasking, prioritization, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
