Full Stack Developer

12 Months contract, renewable

Mandatory to have: Angular, Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript, with the ability to develop secure, scalable and maintainable web applications. 5 years of experience in full stack application development, with a strong track record in developing, enhancing and supporting enterprise-grade digital applications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack application development, with a strong track record in developing, enhancing and supporting enterprise-grade digital applications.

• Strong proficiency in Angular, Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript, with the ability to develop secure, scalable and maintainable web applications.

• Strong experience in API development, system integration, database design and optimisation, particularly using PostgreSQL.

• Hands-on experience with cloud-native application development and deployment, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including containerisation and CI/CD practices.

• Good understanding of software engineering principles, application architecture, secure coding practices and web application security.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled application development and modern technologies such as microservices, event-driven architectures, serverless computing or real-time messaging would be an added advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, technology and vendor teams.

• Technical Skills: Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+ and related), RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker Git-based CI/CD pipelines, application security, and system integration.

Design, develop and enhance secure, scalable and high-performing digital applications and integrations that support SKP's regulatory, operational and consumer service objectives, while driving technology innovation, cloud-native solutions and the sustainable in-housing of digital capabilities.
