Role Description The Application Developer – UML is responsible for designing, modeling, and developing applications using UML to document system architecture, workflows, and component interactions. This contract, on-site role in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia involves working with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, creating UML diagrams, and translating designs into robust and maintainable code. Day-to-day tasks include implementing software features, integrating applications with databases and external systems, and ensuring compatibility with front-end technologies such as CSS where relevant. The role also includes testing, debugging, and optimizing applications, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with other developers, analysts, and project teams to deliver solutions on schedule and in line with quality standards.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Software Development and Programming skills, including experience with common development frameworks and languages.
• Candidates should possess skills in working with Databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and optimizing data access.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end integration considerations.
• Candidates should possess Integration skills for connecting applications with APIs, services, and other enterprise systems.
• Candidates should possess practical experience with UML for modeling use cases, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, and system architecture.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate on-site in cross-functional environments.
• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is preferred.
