Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and technically competent
ACMV Engineer
to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation projects from planning and design through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate and supervise ACMV/air-conditioning installation works at project sites.
Prepare and review ACMV drawings, layouts, equipment schedules and technical submissions.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct site inspections and monitor installation progress, workmanship and safety requirements.
Carry out technical calculations, equipment selection and basic system design for ACMV projects.
Prepare material submissions, method statements, testing & commissioning documents and project reports.
Monitor project schedules, manpower, materials and equipment requirements.
Troubleshoot ACMV system and equipment issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Coordinate testing, commissioning and performance verification of air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
Attend site meetings and provide technical support to the project team.
Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications and relevant Singapore standards and requirements.
Assist with project costing, variation works and technical quotations when required.
Prepare project documentation and support the final handover to clients.
Perform other engineering and project-related duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, ACMV
or a related field.
Relevant experience in
ACMV / air-conditioning / mechanical ventilation
projects is preferred.
Good knowledge of air-conditioning systems, including
VRV/VRF, split units, ducted systems, FCU, AHU, chilled-water systems and ventilation systems
.
Able to read and understand mechanical/ACMV drawings and technical specifications.
Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred; experience with BIM/Revit is an advantage.
Good understanding of installation, testing and commissioning procedures.
Good problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
Able to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and site personnel.
Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects or tasks.
Willing to travel to different project sites in Singapore.
Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and a strong interest in ACMV may also be considered.
