Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support supply chain planning, inventory management, procurement, logistics, and operational analysis in Singapore. The successful candidate will analyse supply chain data, identify trends and inefficiencies, and provide insights that help improve costs, inventory levels, delivery performance, and overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse supply chain data related to inventory, procurement, logistics, demand, and supplier performance.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, replenishment requirements, and product availability.
- Assist with demand forecasting and supply planning activities.
- Prepare and maintain regular supply chain reports, dashboards, and performance summaries.
- Track key supply chain KPIs, including inventory turnover, lead time, order fulfilment, and delivery performance.
- Identify supply shortages, excess inventory, delays, and other operational issues.
- Work with procurement teams to monitor purchase orders and supplier performance.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to support efficient movement of goods and materials.
- Analyse historical data to identify trends and support business planning.
- Assist in developing recommendations to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Maintain accurate supply chain records and ensure data quality.
- Support supplier reviews, inventory audits, and operational improvement projects.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, procurement, warehouse, and operations teams.
- Assist with process improvement and supply chain optimisation initiatives.
- Prepare presentations and reports for management when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, Analytics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, or data analysis is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internships or academic projects are welcome to apply.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
- Good understanding of inventory management, procurement, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualisation tools.
- Familiarity with demand forecasting and inventory planning.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data analytics is an advantage.
- Understanding of warehouse and transportation management systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain KPIs and performance measurement.
- Experience with process improvement or Lean methodologies is a plus.
