Summary

We are seeking an experienced Unix L2/L3 Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level support for Linux (RHEL), Solaris, and IBM AIX environments. The role involves system administration, incident troubleshooting, patching, performance tuning, automation, and infrastructure support across data center and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Linux, Solaris, and AIX servers in production environments.
• Perform OS administration, patching, upgrades, hardening, and troubleshooting.
• Manage Solaris Zones, LDOMs, AIX LPARs, VIOS, and Unix infrastructure components.
• Support cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), virtualization, and container platforms.
• Automate operational tasks using Ansible, Terraform, Shell scripting, and Python.
• Perform incident management, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and capacity management.
• Participate in 24x7 support, on-call rotations, and major incident resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Strong experience with Red Hat Linux, Solaris, and IBM AIX administration.
• Knowledge of Unix troubleshooting, clustering, storage integration, and high availability solutions.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Shell scripting, and automation practices.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Strong production support and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting large enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
