Job Summary

Manage daily operations by leading delivery teams, optimizing routes, and ensuring safe, accurate, and timely delivery of goods.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and evaluate delivery drivers and support staff to maintain high performance and service standards
Assign and optimize delivery schedules and routes to maximize efficiency and ensure punctual deliveries
Monitor daily delivery activities, track key performance metrics, and resolve delivery or logistics issues promptly
Enforce vehicle maintenance standards, workplace safety protocols, and compliance with local driving regulations
Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and claims related to delayed or damaged orders with professionalism
Communicate clearly with drivers and stakeholders to provide updates and instructions
Make quick, effective decisions under pressure to manage delays or road incidents and minimize impact on delivery schedules

Required competencies and certifications

Valid Class 3 driving license with a clean driving record
At least 2 years of relevant experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience in logistics, supply chain, dispatching, or fleet management
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team-coordinating skills
Proficiency with computer systems
