Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Project Engineer Mechanical based in Kulim. The Senior Project Engineer Mechanical will oversee mechanical design, coordination, and implementation for cleanroom, HVAC, and related MEP systems, from concept through detailed design and installation. Daily tasks include reviewing technical drawings, preparing specifications, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors, and ensuring project compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The role involves monitoring project schedules and budgets, supporting tender and contract preparation, and resolving technical issues that arise during construction and commissioning. The Senior Project Engineer Mechanical will also contribute to continuous improvement in engineering practices and support operation and maintenance activities post-handover.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge in HVAC, cleanroom systems, and general MEP design and coordination.
• Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and progress reporting.
• Ability to review and prepare technical drawings, calculations, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations for mechanical and building services systems.
• Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM tools, HVAC design software) is an advantage.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification or registration is an added benefit.
• Prior experience in cleanroom, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or high-tech facility projects is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on-site in Kulim and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
