Hadco Metals Singapore, part of the global Hadco Group, supplies high-quality raw materials to leading Semiconductor, Aerospace, & Defence manufacturers. We operate a bonded warehouse in Singapore and provide cut-to-size, just-in-time delivery to our customers.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Metal cutting operator in the Semiconductor, Aerospace & Defence industry, specifically with raw materials such as aluminum, steel, titanium, nickel alloys, bars, plates, rods, and sheets. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cutting raw materials and in quality inspection, understanding of material certifications, and familiarity with industry standards.
Experience
1–3 years of experience in metal cutting and quality inspection, preferably in the aerospace or metal/raw materials industry. Candidates with no experience may be considered as well.
Job Responsibilities
1. Cut steel, aluminum, and other metals according to customer orders.
2. Operate band saws, cold saws, and other cutting equipment.
3. Read cutting lists and basic engineering drawings.
4. Measure materials accurately.
5. Load and unload materials safely.
6. Assist with packing and warehouse duties.
7. Maintain machinery and keep the work area clean.
Requirements
Experience with industrial saws is an advantage.
Able to read measuring tapes accurately
Conduct inspection of aerospace-grade raw materials as per industry and customer requirements.
Perform supplier qualification and approval processes.
Verify mill test reports (MTRs) against AMS and ASTM standards.
Release Certificates of Conformance (CoC) based on material readiness and customer purchase orders.
Perform inspection in accordance with customer specifications.
Ensure complete traceability and proper identification of materials throughout the process.
Ensure all purchases comply with the approved vendor list.
Ensure compliance with AS9120, AS9100, ISO 9001 quality management standards.
