Company Overview

Our Group is a leading retailer and distributor of electrical products and accessories in Singapore with over 20 years of retail presence. We operate 10 branches and source quality products from global manufacturers, serving electrical contractors, interior designers, and walk-in customers.

Job Summary

You will manage the end-to-end sourcing and purchasing process for local and overseas suppliers, ensuring product quality, timely delivery, and effective vendor relations to support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire sourcing process for local and overseas purchases to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement
• Coordinate daily operational purchasing activities including shipping documentation, logistics, and import permit declarations to maintain smooth supply chain flow
• Review and verify the quality of purchased products to meet company standards
• Monitor contract renewal periods, process variation orders, and manage vendor relationships to maintain supplier performance
• Maintain accurate records of purchased products, delivery schedules, and invoices for audit and reporting purposes
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors by arranging and conducting meetings to align purchasing objectives
• Prepare detailed purchase reports including cost analysis to support financial decision-making
• Execute other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Purchasing Manager to support department goals

Required competencies and certifications

• O/N Levels, Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate effectively within a team
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills applied to vendor and stakeholder interactions
• Organized and meticulous in managing purchasing documentation and records
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage professionally with internal and external parties

We carry third party brand electrical products and accessories which we source from manufacturers based in France, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands and/or their Singapore-based distributors. We have a wide customer base in Singapore which primarily comprises electrical contractors, interior designers and walk-in customers at our retail branches.
