They are looking for a Software Engineer, Frontend (React) to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will build and optimise user-facing web applications using TypeScript, React and Next.js, work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to enhance the usability of our applications, and uphold high-quality design standards and brand consistency across our products.

Position : Software Engineer (React)
Location: KL Midvalley City

Responsibilities:

• Gathering information from stakeholders regarding functionality and features.
• Collaborating with various teams to enhance the usability of the application.
• Attending and contributing to meetings.
• Writing and maintaining code.
• Creating technical documentation.
• Build apps with/without mockups and prototypes.
• Ensuring adherence to high-quality design standards and brand consistency.
• Staying informed about emerging technologies.
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and performance.
• Monitoring the front-end performance of the application.
• Performing thorough code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a front-end developer.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong experience and proficiency in Typescript, React and Next.js.
• Experience in integrating with third-party libraries, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of back-end development is a plus.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• Experience with React Native and Expo is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process, encompassing design, development, and deployment.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization solutions (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• A keen eye for layout aesthetics (strong sense of design).
• Knowledge of SEO principles.
• Familiarity with working with design and prototype software such as Figma.
• The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
• Experience with version control, Git, and GitHub.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Proficiency in using AI tools (like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, *************, Cursor, Windsurf) to enhance development productivity.
• Strong code review skills with attention to code quality, performance, and best practices.
• Willing to learn.

Remuneration packages:
Basic: RM 5k-6k
EPF, SOCSO, EIS
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:30 am -5:30pm

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
