职位描述

岗位职责

Seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Special Projects Lead to grow our research competition events — building business development and marketing relationships with overseas partners, and supporting schools through onboarding onto our training programmes. The ideal candidate thrives with ambiguity, spots and acts on opportunities before they're obvious, and comes from either an education background with event/business development experience, or an events background with a genuine passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Partnerships

Identify, approach, and build relationships with overseas partners to grow the competition pipeline.

Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, sponsorships, and collaboration opportunities.

Spot and act on upsell and expansion opportunities within existing partner relationships.

Marketing & Event Growth

Develop and execute marketing plans to raise the international profile of research competition events.

Plan and run competition events end-to-end, from concept through delivery.

Represent CELSCA at overseas events, conferences, and partner meetings as needed.

School Onboarding & Training Programme Support

Support schools through onboarding onto training programmes — coordinating logistics, materials, and communication.

Serve as the key point of contact for partner schools during rollout, ensuring a smooth start.

Gather feedback from onboarded schools to refine the onboarding process over time.

Teaching (background-dependent)

Educators: contribute teaching hours in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/Biology/English as capacity allows.

Events professionals: opportunity to build teaching capability over time, supported by the existing tutor team.

Requirements

Former educator with event management or business development experience, OR former events manager with a genuine passion for education and willingness to teach.

Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable building something new with limited structure or precedent.

Demonstrated ability to spot and convert upsell/growth opportunities.

Strong cross-border relationship-building skills; comfortable working with overseas partners.

Excellent communication, project management, and organisational skills.

Able to travel
