ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a leading Japanese A1 Main Contractor delivering major Industrial and Commercial building projects in Singapore. We are seeking an experienced

Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of Mechanical & Electrical works across large-scale construction projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage commercial and contractual matters for M&E / Building Services packages.

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, tender evaluations and subcontract documentation.

Administer subcontracts, variation orders, progress claims and final accounts.

Evaluate subcontractor claims, variations and payment applications.

Monitor project costs, budgets and overall commercial performance.

Liaise with clients, consultants, project teams and M&E subcontractors on commercial matters.

Support procurement, negotiation and award of M&E subcontract packages.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering or a related discipline.

Strong Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.

Experience managing

M&E / Building Services commercial packages

.

Main Contractor experience will be highly advantageous.

Experience on Industrial, Commercial, Data Centre, Semiconductor or other complex building projects will be advantageous but is not essential.

Good knowledge of contract administration, cost control, variations, subcontract management and final accounts.

Strong commercial, negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
