Job Duties

Underground Utility Mapping: Conduct thorough site surveys using certified cable detectors to locate buried electricity cables and utilities

Investigation Reports: Prepare and sign comprehensive cable investigation reports in accordance with statutory requirements (e.g., EMSD Code of Practice) before excavation begins.

Site Supervision: Provide clear markings on-site for excavation teams and oversee trial hole executions to expose cables safely.

Safety Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with local electricity supply safety regulations and internal safety standards.

Collaboration: Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and utility companies to verify cable plans and alignment drawings.

Handle ad hoc duties and assignments as directed.

Job Requirements

Must be hold a valid Competent Person for Locating Underground Electricity Cables recognized by EMSD

Hold a valid certificate in Construction Safety Supervisor ( eg CIC or OSHC) will be definitely advantage or equivalent

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in cable detection and underground utility surveying on active construction sites

Proficiency in operating advanced cable locating equipment and interpreting utility layout drawings

Good command of spoken and written [Language, e.g., English and Cantonese]

Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset.
